My old home town is known for its universities, wineries, Cayuga Lake, and music. The Ithaca College School of Music turns out the best musicians anywhere, and every winery and club is teeming with music every night. Country Cooking with Tony Trishka and Peter Wernick started here. Orleans also formed here and were regulars to a packed house at The Salty Dog on Old Taugannock Blvd. I played guitar & banjo with Desperado back in the day, and we found ourselves sharing the stage with the likes of Aztec Two-Step, Commander Cody, Livingston Taylor, Outlaws, Orleans, and Pure Prairie League, to name a few. Imagine that....
...to Denver
I've lived in Denver for the last several years, and found myself playing bass at Bluegrass jams and with a delightful duo out of Evergreen. I was also fortunate enough to meet several talented and wonderful musicians in Wash Park. We started a performing group, named it MicroGrass . Micro has been playing for a whole variety of audiences, from small Farmer's Markets to major festivals. Above pic taken at Gilpin Street Concerts.
We all have a musical history that spans from now until back in the day. Click on each folder above to see where I've been.
